Bharti Airtel Apne Africa Business Ko Aur Mazboot Kar Rahi Hai!

Bharti Airtel ki Board of Directors ne ek bada faisla liya hai. Company ne apni subsidiary Airtel Africa plc mein apna stake aur badhane ke liye ek share swap deal ko manzoori de di hai. Yeh deal Indian Continent Investment Limited (ICIL) se Airtel Africa mein additional 16.31% stake acquire karne ke liye hai.

Is deal ke tahat, Bharti Airtel, ICIL ko apne equity shares issue karegi. Lagbhag 14,67,61,335 shares diye jayenge, jisme har share ki value ₹1,923 rakhi gayi hai. Toh poori deal ki value lagbhag ₹282.2 billion ho jati hai.

Sabse achhi baat yeh hai ki yeh deal Bharti Airtel ke Earnings Per Share (EPS) ko improve karegi, matlab company ke liye per share earnings badhegi. Abhi is deal ko poora karne ke liye shareholders ki Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) mein approval chahiye hoga, aur saare zaroori regulatory aur statutory approvals bhi milne hain. Company ka aim FY27 tak yeh deal poori karne ka hai. Yeh preferential share issuance Bharti Airtel ke closing price se lagbhag 9.5% premium par hai, jabki Airtel Africa ke shares discount par kharide ja rahe hain.
