Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) ke members ne ek postal ballot ke through sabhi major corporate actions ko overwhelmingly approve kar diya hai. Ismein sabse bada hai ₹63,250 Crore ka bonus share issuance aur saath hi kai board appointments bhi.
Sabhi paanch resolutions ko ekdum zabardast support mila hai. Bonus share proposal ko toh 99.9998% logo ne haan bola hai! Yeh issue company apne reserves aur surplus se ₹6,32,499.77 lakh (yaani lagbhag ₹63,249.99 crore) capitalize karke karegi. Voting 17 May 2026 ko khatam hui thi.
Independent directors Shri Mahalingam G ki re-appointment ko 99.78% aur Dr. V.S. Parthasarathy ko 99.96% votes mile. Wahi, naye Managing Directors, Ms. Shalini Pandit aur Shri Ramakrishnan Chander ko bhi 99.79% se zyada votes se approve kiya gaya.
