NOFHC દ્વારા આ નિર્ણય SEBI (સેબી) ના શેરહોલ્ડિંગ નિયમોનું પાલન કરવાના ભાગરૂપે લેવામાં આવ્યો છે. આ વેચાણને કારણે NOFHC નું Bandhan Bank માં કુલ શેરહોલ્ડિંગ ઘટીને 37.93% થયું છે, જે અગાઉ 40.00% હતું. SEBI નિયમો મુજબ, લિસ્ટેડ કંપનીઓમાં પ્રમોટરનું શેરહોલ્ડિંગ ચોક્કસ મર્યાદામાં હોવું ફરજિયાત છે.
