What just happened

Praruh Technologies delivered a sharp performance in the half-year ending September 30, 2026. Revenue surged to Rs 84.06 crore from Rs 17.60 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA also saw a significant boost, rising to Rs 11.34 crore with a margin of 13.49%. The company has secured an order book of Rs 154 crore, providing clear visibility for its FY27 revenue guidance of Rs 175-200 crore.

Strategic Pivot

The firm is transitioning from a traditional technical platform model to an AI-driven, data-centric solutions company. A key milestone is the upcoming January 2027 launch of "NeuralOps," a proprietary software designed for automation and data centers. By positioning itself as an OEM, Praruh aims to generate recurring licensing revenue alongside its service-based income. To bolster its capabilities, the company has forged strategic partnerships with major global tech players including Google, Cisco, and IBM.

Defence Vertical Expansion

Praruh is launching a dedicated Defence division, backed by new senior leadership with deep industry expertise. The company intends to shift away from fragmented projects to a more concentrated strategy, aiming to extract Rs 50-70 crore in revenue from this segment by the 2027-28 fiscal year. This expansion leverages current "Make-in-India" policies which prioritize domestic software procurement in PSU and government projects.

Risks to watch

Execution remains the primary monitorable for investors. The successful commercial launch and market adoption of NeuralOps in 2027 is critical. Additionally, diversifying the revenue base is a key challenge; while 90% of revenue currently stems from PSUs and the government, the company aims to grow the enterprise segment to 30% contribution by 2028. Investors should also keep an eye on project cost discipline as the firm scales its new divisions.
