Pace Digitek Reports Order Book At Rs 11,000 Cr; Eyes 10 GWh Capacity

Pace Digitek marks its first year post-listing with a robust order book of Rs 11,000 Cr for FY2026. The company is aggressively scaling its Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) capacity to 10 GWh by FY2027, driven by strong inflows from the energy sector while maintaining a steady base in its legacy telecom business.

Pace Digitek Marks First Year Post-Listing With Strong Growth

Order Book: Rs 11,000+ Cr (FY2026); BESS Capacity: 5 GWh Operational.

Reader Takeaway: Strong order visibility in energy storage drives growth, though rapid capacity expansion requires sustained operational efficiency.

What just happened

Pace Digitek Ltd has completed its first year since its public listing, reporting a significant scaling of its Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) platform. The company reported an order book of over Rs 11,000 Cr for FY2026, a notable increase from Rs 7,634 Cr in the previous year. Revenue also grew to Rs 2,641 Cr from Rs 2,439 Cr. The company has successfully reached a 5 GWh operational manufacturing capacity, doubling its capacity from the time of its July 2025 IPO.

Why this matters

The company is executing a strategic pivot from its telecom and power-electronics roots into an integrated energy storage player. Currently, 88.7% of its total order inflows are concentrated in the energy segment. By expanding into System Integration, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), and lifecycle support, Pace Digitek is positioning itself to capture a larger share of the utility-scale and C&I storage market.

Operational Performance

Manufacturing efficiency has improved significantly at the company’s facilities. The first 2.5 GWh production line saw capacity utilization rise from 80% to 85%, while the product rejection rate dropped sharply from 5% to 0.5%. The company successfully delivered 350+ containers, totaling 1.6+ GWh of capacity, over the past 12 months.

What changes now

Pace Digitek is aggressively targeting a 10 GWh manufacturing capacity by the end of FY2027. While scaling, the company continues to leverage its legacy telecom business for stability, highlighted by the completion of 8,000+ sites for the BSNL 4G Saturation Project and the successful rollout of the TANFINET OFC project.

Risks to watch

As the company moves from simple equipment supply to complex EPC and lifecycle management projects, maintaining execution margins and managing the working capital requirements of larger energy projects will be critical for long-term value creation.

What to track next

Investors should monitor the progression toward the 10 GWh capacity target and the conversion rate of the Rs 11,000 Cr order book into realized revenues in upcoming quarters.
