Ceinsys Tech Secures ₹41.26 Cr MHADA Contract for Integrated Project Management & GIS Platform
Ceinsys Tech Limited has announced it secured a significant contract worth ₹41.26 crore (excluding taxes) from the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA). The project involves developing and maintaining critical IT systems for urban development.
The agreement includes the design, development, and ongoing maintenance of an Integrated Project Management System and a Web-Based GIS Platform. The project is structured with a 12-month implementation phase, followed by a substantial 36-month operational and maintenance (O&M) period. This long-term O&M component significantly extends the revenue stream from this contract.
This new award substantially enhances Ceinsys Tech's project pipeline and provides clear revenue visibility stretching over the next four years. It also reinforces the company's established expertise in delivering integrated project management and GIS solutions, particularly for government and urban planning initiatives.
Ceinsys Tech has a prior working relationship with MHADA, having previously secured a ₹27.77 crore contract for a similar digital transformation project. More recently, the company received a ₹3.24 crore service order from ISRO for a three-year subscription renewal. In recent years, Ceinsys Tech has broadened its capabilities through strategic acquisitions, including AllyGrow Technologies and VTS, enhancing its services in mobility and geospatial technology. As of June 30, 2025, the company reported an order book totaling INR 1,209 Crores, with a significant portion attributed to water infrastructure projects.
With this contract, shareholders can anticipate increased revenue visibility and a stronger order book for Ceinsys Tech. The company's standing as a provider of integrated IT and GIS solutions for government bodies is further solidified. Management's ongoing focus on maintaining EBITDA margins between 20% and 30% will be a key factor as the company executes this project.
Ceinsys Tech operates within a competitive IT sector. Large players like TCS, Infosys, and LTIMindtree also pursue major government digital transformation projects, such as LTIMindtree's ₹3,000 crore contract with the CBDT. However, Ceinsys Tech distinguishes itself through its specialized geospatial expertise, competing in this niche with firms like SPARC and PCI Software.
The company's order book stood at INR 1,209 Crores as of June 30, 2025. Ceinsys Tech targets an EBITDA margin range of 20%-30%.
Investors will be closely monitoring Ceinsys Tech's project execution and timely delivery. The company's success in future bids and securing new contracts within the government and urban development sectors will be critical indicators of sustained growth. Furthermore, the company's ability to effectively manage costs and maintain its profitability margins throughout the project lifecycle will also be a key area of focus.
