ACE Software Exports Ltd has finalized its acquisition of QeLearn Private Limited by purchasing the remaining 49.62% stake for ₹8.90 crore. This move makes QeLearn, an AI-driven EdTech firm, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ACE Software Exports. The acquisition was funded by proceeds from the company's recent rights issue, which concluded its offer period in November 2025.
This diversification strategically moves ACE Software Exports, primarily an IT services firm, into the EdTech sector. QeLearn's AI learning solutions are expected to unlock new growth opportunities and potential synergies for the company. ACE Software Exports had previously held a 50.38% interest in QeLearn.
However, the acquisition comes as QeLearn's revenue has declined year-on-year. The firm reported ₹1.01 crore in revenue for FY2025, down from ₹1.98 crore in FY2024. This performance indicates potential market pressures or operational challenges within the EdTech entity, which faces a competitive landscape where major players like Byju's and Unacademy have also encountered market headwinds. Integrating a new business segment with fluctuating performance carries inherent execution risks for ACE Software Exports.
