Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. announced it has secured a new order valued at ₹39.26 crore (excluding taxes) from Southern Railway.
The contract covers the design, supply, and installation of 25kV Traction Over Head Equipment (OHE). This work is part of the proposed doubling of tracks between Thiruvananthapuram and Eraniel stations.
The company expects the entire project to be completed within 36 months from the date it receives the Letter of Acceptance. This new award strengthens Texmaco Rail's substantial order book and highlights its capabilities in the railway electrification sector.
