Ruchi Infrastructure Ltd. announced on May 5, 2026, the death of its Director (Operations), Sankalp Ved. Mr. Ved, who was appointed to the key operational role on September 1, 2024, leaves a significant gap in the company's leadership.
Mr. Ved, an Electrical Engineering graduate, brought over 22 years of experience in the energy, renewable energy, and warehousing sectors to Ruchi Infrastructure. The company operates across infrastructure, commodities, wind energy, and soap manufacturing. Ruchi Infrastructure has previously reported financial fluctuations and net losses in certain quarters.
The company will now need to search for and appoint a successor to Mr. Ved to guide its day-to-day strategies and execution. Until a new Director (Operations) is in place, the board and senior management are expected to reassign responsibilities to ensure the smooth continuation of operations.
Previously, Ruchi Infrastructure addressed a query from the BSE in March 2026 regarding price movements linked to promoter group transfers. In March 2025, the company also received an Entry Tax notice following a court ruling.
