Menon Bearings Limited has reported significant financial achievements for fiscal year 2026, including record revenue and net profit. The company announced its strongest results to date for both the full year and the fourth quarter (Q4 FY26).
For the full fiscal year 2026, the company reported consolidated revenue of ₹299.46 crore, marking a significant 23.5% increase year-on-year. Net profit for FY26 reached ₹38.25 crore, a robust 53.4% jump from the previous year. Consolidated EBITDA for FY26 stood at ₹64.42 crore.
The fourth quarter of FY26 also set new records, with revenue climbing 34.7% year-on-year to ₹87.79 crore, and net profit soaring by 108.7% to ₹13.78 crore.
These impressive results were fueled by strategic investments in capacity expansion across its Bi-Metal and Brakes divisions, alongside significant capital expenditure allocated to its Alkop division. These efforts are aimed at supporting growing demand and driving future growth.
A major strategic move is the company's entry into the Electric Vehicle (EV) segment via its Alkop division. This diversification is seen as a key step toward future-proofing its business model and capturing opportunities in a rapidly expanding market.
Menon Bearings, a key player in India's auto ancillary sector manufacturing engine bearings, bushings, and thrust bearings, has been focused on boosting manufacturing capacity and exploring new avenues for business over the past two years. Investments in sustainability, including solar power and energy-efficient motors, are also underway to reduce operational costs and improve environmental performance.
Looking ahead, the company plans to leverage its expanded capacity in the Bi-Metal and Brakes divisions to meet increasing demand for its core products. The EV segment entry is expected to open significant new revenue streams, contributing to diversification goals and reducing reliance on any single sector.
Despite the positive outlook, Menon Bearings faces potential challenges. The company is susceptible to the automotive industry's cyclical nature, which can affect component demand. Furthermore, successfully entering and scaling within the competitive EV supply chain presents execution risks and requires significant adaptation.
Key focus areas for the company include monitoring progress on capacity expansions, tracking the EV segment's revenue contribution (targeting 8-10% of Alkop revenue by FY27), securing product registrations for the brake segment with Indian Railways, and expanding its export markets, with a target of 37% by FY27 and potential entry into Africa. These developments will be crucial for continued value creation and sustained growth.
