EPACK Prefab Appoints New Company Secretary and Compliance Officer
EPACK Prefab Technologies announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Mrs. Preeti Chauhan as the company's new Company Secretary and Compliance Officer. Her appointment is effective April 6, 2026, and she succeeds Ms. Nikita Singh, who resigned on January 15, 2026.
The company officially announced the appointment on March 31, 2026. Mrs. Chauhan will also take on the role of Key Managerial Personnel (KMP). The board made this decision to ensure continuity in statutory compliance and corporate governance after Ms. Singh's departure.
The Company Secretary role is critical for ensuring a company meets regulatory requirements, particularly those from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). This position is essential for clear shareholder communications, managing board activities, and upholding legal and ethical standards, which are vital for investor confidence and operational integrity.
Established in 1999, EPACK Prefab Technologies specializes in pre-engineered building (PEB) and prefabricated construction solutions, offering turnkey services from design to erection across various sectors. The company's focus on formal governance structures has been evident, including its filing of a Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) with SEBI in June 2025. EPACK Prefab also regularly closes its trading window before financial result announcements, in line with SEBI's insider trading regulations.
With Mrs. Chauhan in place, EPACK Prefab will have a dedicated professional to manage compliance with SEBI and other regulators. This appointment reinforces the company's governance framework, ensuring adherence to listing obligations and disclosure requirements, and facilitating effective shareholder communications and statutory filings.
Despite strengthening its governance team, EPACK Prefab faces ongoing compliance matters. The company underwent searches by the GST Department in October 2025 related to potential GST evasion. Additionally, the Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board filed a complaint concerning air quality management norms. These situations will require continued monitoring for potential financial or operational impacts.
Moving forward, investors and stakeholders will watch how Mrs. Preeti Chauhan settles into her role and EPACK Prefab's ongoing adherence to SEBI regulations and corporate governance. Developments concerning the GST investigations and the UP Pollution Control Board complaint, along with the company's financial results and business performance, will also be closely monitored.
