National Fertilizers Names Dedicated Finance Director

National Fertilizers Limited (NFL) has appointed Arvind Kumar as its new Director (Finance), effective May 12, 2026. This appointment, confirmed by a Government of India order, establishes a dedicated leadership role for the company's financial operations.

The move means Mahesh Chander Gupta will cease holding the finance portfolio as an additional charge from the same date. Mr. Kumar brings a wealth of experience to NFL, including his previous role as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL), where he gained deep expertise in financial management, audit, and corporate governance.

For a Public Sector Undertaking like NFL, the appointment of a dedicated finance head is critical for ensuring focused financial strategy and robust oversight.
