Profit After Tax Rises to ₹35.26 Lakh

Reader Takeaway: Strong gold loan AUM growth drives performance, while a new ₹250 crore NCD issuance targets aggressive expansion.

What just happened

Richfield Financial Services has released its financial results for FY 2025-26, showing significant growth across key metrics. Revenue from operations reached ₹1,219.57 lakh compared to ₹437.33 lakh in the previous year. Profit After Tax improved to ₹35.26 lakh, up from ₹12.54 lakh in FY 2024-25. Total assets also grew substantially, standing at ₹84.55 crore as of March 31, 2026, versus ₹35.10 crore the prior year.

Why this matters

The company is aggressively scaling its footprint, increasing its branch network from 19 to 50 locations, including a new push into Bangalore. A primary engine of this growth is the gold loan segment, with its AUM climbing to ₹49.48 crore from just ₹7.73 crore in the previous fiscal year.

Corporate Governance and Future Plans

At the upcoming AGM on September 24, 2026, shareholders will vote on several strategic items:

  • Re-appointment of Managing Director V C Georgekutty for a five-year term.
  • Re-appointment of Indu Kamala Ravindran as an Independent Director for a second term.
  • Amendment to the Memorandum of Association to include broader corporate agency insurance services.

Fundraising

To fuel this expansion, the board is seeking member approval for the private placement of secured or unsecured, redeemable Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) up to an aggregate limit of ₹250 crore.
