Autoline Industries Sells Industrial Parks Unit for ₹103 Crore, Focuses on Auto Parts
Autoline Industries Ltd. has finalized the sale of its subsidiary, Autoline Industrial Parks Ltd. (AIPL), for ₹102.86 crore. Management control has been transferred to MNSC Realty & Developers Pvt Ltd., shifting Autoline Industries' focus back to its core auto component manufacturing business amidst ongoing legal challenges.
The final agreement, dated September 18, 2025, saw Autoline Industries Ltd. receive ₹95.17 crore, while its subsidiary, Autoline Design Software Ltd. (ADSL), received ₹3.33 crore from the deal. AIPL, which held a net worth of ₹115.84 crore as of March 31, 2025, is no longer a material subsidiary after the transfer of management control.
This sale allows Autoline Industries to simplify its structure by divesting its non-core real estate development arm. The proceeds of ₹102.86 crore provide significant liquidity, which can be used for debt reduction, working capital, or reinvestment in its primary automotive component manufacturing business. The company is a key supplier to major original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
Autoline Industries specializes in manufacturing automotive components, including heavy sheet metal parts, assemblies, exhaust systems, and pedal systems for major OEMs like Tata Motors, Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, and Volkswagen. Autoline Industrial Parks Ltd. was originally set up to develop industrial parks, acquiring land in Maharashtra's Chakan industrial area. The process to divest AIPL began in August 2023, involving gradual steps before this final sale.
However, Autoline Industries faces a significant legal challenge. A US court has ordered the company to pay over USD 1 million, plus interest and fees, stemming from an unpaid settlement. While enforcing this judgment in India would require new legal proceedings, it presents a substantial potential financial liability and ongoing concern for the company.
Autoline Industries operates in the competitive auto ancillary sector alongside major players like Bharat Forge Ltd., Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd., and Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. Investors will be watching how Autoline Industries deploys the sale proceeds, its progress in resolving the US court judgment, performance in its core auto component manufacturing segments, and management's ability to navigate these financial and legal matters.
